Henry V is dead and Henry VI sits on the throne.
The English nobles are divided in a prelude to the
War of the Roses and York believes he should be
King. Joan of Arc fights the English, who the French
seek to drive out of France. Plots grow against
King Henry whilst in France Joan of Arc is burnt
at the stake. Gloucester hopes for peace by bringing
together Henry and the daughter of a French lord.
The Earl of Suffolk introduce the King to Margaret
of Anjou hoping to control the King through her.
