The two sons of Cymbeline, widowed King of Britain,
are kidnapped. His daughter Imogen becomes heir
to the throne. Cymbeline marries a woman who wants
her son to become heir, by marrying Imogen but she
loves Posthumus. Cymbeline is persuaded by the Queen
to banish Posthumus. Iachimo deceives Posthumus
into believing that Imogen has betrayed him and
Posthumus orders his servant to take her to the
wood and kill her. Rather than kill Imogen the servant
gives her men's clothes to disguise herself. Imogen
meets her long lost brothers, who kill the Queen's
son when he comes looking for her. The brothers
join Posthumus in a fight to save Cymbeline, after
which the King, his sons, Imogen and Posthumus are
reunited.
